SEV LTER All Hands Meeting Practitioners and Managers Workshop

On January 11, 2024, ARID co-hosted a regional land managers and practitioners workshop at UNM with the Sevilleta Long-Term Ecological Research Program (SEV-LTER). At the workshop, groups of regional land managers and UNM researchers shared their thoughts and ideas about information needs and how to use data to inform resilient management. Most managers agreed on the utility of relevant data as a means of successfully achieving management priorities, but voiced a need for help with identifying useful datasets, analyzing existing data in a meaningful way, and interpreting and communicating the results of data to address management questions. The results of the SEV-LTER Managers Workshop informed planning efforts for both SEV-LTER and ARID.
