Sustainability Expo
The University of New Mexico Sustainability Studies Program held its 14th annual Sustainability Expo on April 25th, 2024. This festive Earth Day event at UNM featured a growers’ market, educational displays, and interactive exhibits. ARID participated with a table that provided information about the institute and activities that encouraged members of the community to think about resilience in New Mexico. There was a “resilience tree” that individuals could add to, making pledges for actions that could increase resilience.
